Welcome to Smaart-Tech! This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds for services purchased through our platform. By engaging with our services and making a payment, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy. This policy is governed by the laws of India, and all disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai.


1. General Principles

Refunds are considered only in specific cases outlined in this policy. Our pricing is based on the scope of work determined after assessing client requirements. Once an agreement is in place, refunds will be processed according to the terms specified herein. Smaart-Tech reserves the right to deny refund requests that fall outside the terms of this policy.

2. Advance Payments

Clients are required to pay a non-refundable advance to initiate any project. This advance ensures commitment from both parties and protects us from liabilities or fraudulent activities. The advance amount is non-refundable under all circumstances, including project cancellation by the client, unless specified otherwise.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Non-Delivery of Services: If Smaart-Tech is unable to initiate or proceed with the agreed services due to unforeseen circumstances within our control, a full refund of any advance payments made will be issued.
  • Failure to Meet Agreed Milestones: If specific project milestones are not met due to our fault, the client may request a refund proportional to the unfinished work.

4. Exclusions from Refunds

  • Change in client requirements or scope of work after the agreement.
  • Client’s lack of responsiveness or failure to provide necessary inputs or approvals for the project.
  • Dissatisfaction with a service already completed as per agreed specifications.
  • Disputes arising from third-party tools or integrations requested by the client.

5. Refund Process

All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 business days of the issue. Requests should include a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund, along with any supporting evidence. Upon receiving the request, we will evaluate the claim and respond within 10 business days.

6. Payment Reversals

Payments made through payment aggregator are governed by their terms and conditions. Any chargebacks or disputes initiated by the client through payment aggregator will be subject to investigation by the payment aggregator. Smaart-Tech reserves the right to provide all necessary evidence to payment aggregator to contest fraudulent or illegitimate chargebacks.

7. Finality of Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval. Refunds will be made to the original payment method used during the transaction. All refunds are final, and no further claims will be entertained once processed.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes regarding refunds will first be addressed through mutual discussion.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai.
